In 2013, with great love for what we’d done and accomplished, we started restoring and rejuvenating stone houses in Kontias of Limnos. Kontias is a beautifully traditional village built between three green hills with its main feature being its stone. The houses, the stables and the paddocks are the natural continuation of the rocks, the hills and the landscape.

The stone’s durability over time gives a sense of security and ever since nature so generously gifted it to this place, the experienced hands of the local rocks and gems have made it play a protagonist role on the small island. All this beautiful scenery rests, calms and renews as it takes us away from the pressure of city life and the stress of everyday life. As one moves out of the village, their gaze is immediately met with gentle hills, fields colored with every shade of ocher and gold, and the sea with its wonderful blues embracing the land as the land embraces the sea in a harmonious coexistence.
